Hi, I'm Melinda and I am a licensed counselor, a board certified art therapist, and an artist. Therapy with me usually starts with talking and then I weave in art therapy, writing, psycho education, and EMDR techniques based on what you are working on. I have a gentle approach to therapy because I know some things people come to therapy for can be difficult to talk about. My training and background are in trauma informed therapy. I want to assist you in finding the right tools to tell your story. You do not need any experience with art to work with me. Come as you are!

The ability to include art therapy techniques with traditional talk therapy and EMDR make me stand out as a therapist. I provide multiple ways to share and process your story.
