My name is Melinda Goodwin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I have 21 years of experience doing individual therapy sessions as well as facilitating groups and couples/family sessions. I have spent my career helping individuals struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, relationship issues, family discord and stress. I am very passionate about helping individuals actualize their full potential and work to remove any barriers that may arise.
By using Evidence Based Therapeutic Interventions, I can assist individuals with a connection to their thoughts/internal narrative and help them return to the present moment. By bringing attention to the present moment, the fears, anxieties, worry, and stress that overwhelm many individuals can be minimized and true healing can begin.
