Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works alongside you to approach all problems with empathy, non-judgement and mindfulness. My specialties include couples therapy and trauma, but also have a lot of experience with depression, anxiety, religious deconstruction/trauma. I hope to help you explore meaning through trauma, grief and life transitions, and help you process through emotions using an evidence-based practice, including existential/humanistic techniques, ACT and EMDR. For couples therapy, I focus on helping couples develop a deeper bond, and communicate with one another, using Emotion-Focused Therapy.
I received my Ph.D in Research Psychology and M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. I use my Ph.D. in Social/Health Psychology to help with stress and coping, understanding the brain, and dealing with health and health stigma. I also specialize in couples and trauma
