I have a keen appreciation for addiction therapy, understanding the underlying issues must be addressed. I began studying addiction counseling in 2010 and quickly found my passion in the counseling world. I specialize in addiction counseling and trauma therapy. I work with adults and families. I am a certified EMDR therapist and have studied complex trauma and structural dissociation.
I have significant experience in the treatment of complex trauma, mental illness, and family dysfunction as contributing factors with chemical dependency clients. My focus is client-centered and my primary counseling approaches are CBT, EMDR and Brainspotting. I am an active member of both EMDRIA and NASW.
