I work with people struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, and depression. Being a creative person means seeing the world in an open vulnerable way. I work with clients that are looking for a space to process life's often overwhelming experiences. I have an interest in serving highly sensitive people, artists, and individuals in high stress professions. My clinical interests include anxiety and depression, grief and loss, fertility issues, relationships, and parenthood. I love seeing people get better and and realize the changes they've been wanting for so long. Together we work toward the goals of connection, stability and success.
Bringing compassion, curiosity, and 50+ years of life experience to my role as therapist is integral to my work. I integrate a humanistic approach with psychodynamic, strength-based, and trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral therapy, in addition to somatic, parts and Internal Family Systems work, and mindfulness techniques.
Research shows that successful therapy is founded on a relationship with a caring therapist you can trust. I welcome connecting with you, and happy to offer an intern rate. I will love to answer your questions, talk more about the therapeutic process and give you a chance to see if therapy with me is the right fit for you.
