Hi there! I am so glad that you are here and considering therapy. As someone who was raised in a culture where mental health was not widely discussed, I understand firsthand the power of being able to openly share your thoughts without fear of judgment or scrutiny. With that being said, I also understand how intimidating it can be to attend therapy, especially for the first time. My goal as a therapist is to meet my clients where they are and create a safe and warm environment in which my clients can explore their authentic selves.
Life can be incredibly difficult, and I believe that no one should have to navigate troubling times alone. I often joke that, by doing my job well, I am actively trying to put myself out of work. I feel very privileged and honored to be given the opportunity to assist my clients in getting to the point where they no longer need me.
To do this, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches. I do not view therapy as a one size fits all field, and my use of various therapeutic techniques in sessions reflects that. I am currently accepting new clients and am excited that you are considering me for your counseling journey.
