In these uncertain times, we can be faced with a myriad of challenges. We can be left feeling overwhelmed, confused, alone, and knowing that we may want to make changes in our life, but may not know how. We often also hear the sentiment people do not seek out therapy because they do not believe their issues are “severe enough." I want to reassure you that therapy can be a safe space to explore many topics and challenges. My goal as a therapist is to provide a warm, safe environment to work towards any goals of healing, and learn new strategies to make any desired changes.
I have expertise in working with adults who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, women’s issues, self-esteem, chronic illness, diagnosis of an illness, caregivers, life transitions, grief/loss, and a certification in working with older adults. I use CBT, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness to facilitate change.
I am also a big believer in going at the pace that her clients need as sometimes clients are coming in for a single event stressor or wanting to address complex/past experiences that are continuing to have an influence today. I believe in strong collaboration with all my clients. I look forward to speaking with you further to see if we are a good fit.
