I am a licensed professional counselor who works with adolescents and adults in a non-judgemental, interactive and supportive manner. I work with my clients to address and resolve emotional difficulties including feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship conflicts, negative thoughts or behaviors that interfere with their daily life and overall well-being.
My primary therapy orientation is person-centered, as I believe that one of the most important aspects of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. I feel that my role as a therapist is to create an environment of trust and support in which my clients can safely explore areas of concern.
Life is full of challenges and at times you may feel overwhelmed and begin to lose hope. Using my training in psychology and counseling, I can support you through these difficult periods. My goal is to assist you in gaining insight, identifying and healing trauma, changing unproductive thought patterns, regulating emotions and developing coping skills.
