Hi! My name is Megan Quinn, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 5 years of clinical practice and am passionate about helping my clients find a sense of self, purpose, healing, and growth. I work with clients who experience symptoms of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, as well as psychotic episodes. Symptoms that one will experience can range in severity and can fluctuate greatly from day to day and my goal is to help each client understand their own symptoms, triggers, and coping skills.
As we explore your goals and interests, may they be self-discovery, inner peace, or any other number of concepts, we will establish a care plan together. I pull from a multitude of therapeutic approaches, most commonly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, but absolutely from a client-centered perspective.
The environment I strive to create with each client is one with a feeling of understanding, acceptance and that is free of judgment. Together we will create a balance of security and trust. I use empathy and a touch of humor, of course. It is important that the client feels able to share openly, even if not immediately, but eventually.
