My name is Megan, and I am accepting new clients in Oregon. Taking those first steps towards self-improvement is not always easy and finding the right therapist can sometimes feel overwhelming. It is my goal to help you feel more comfortable as you embark on the journey. Creating a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental space where hope, healing, and self-discovery can flourish is what drives my work. I believe that the therapeutic process is different for each unique individual and there is not a one size fits all approach.
I see each individual as a whole person with unique strengths, capacities, and resources that can help them improve their lives and create positive changes. I work from a strengths-based, trauma informed lens, utilizing an integrated approach with a wide range of treatment modalities to address diverse challenges.
I have experience treating PTSD, abuse, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, women’s issues, religious trauma and faith transitions, parenting challenges, and addiction. I value positive sexuality and gender affirming care in my work. I welcome those of all identities including people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, and neurodivergent individuals
