I believe that change in therapy can occur when someone feels safe and secure in the therapeutic relationship. I aim to provide such a space for individuals to explore their emotions, beliefs, relational patterns, and behaviors. I assist my clients in increasing self-awareness, decreasing distressing symptoms, and improving their overall well-being. My practice primarily serves adults struggling to cope with stress stemming from various types of life transitions, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, depression, and eating/body image concerns.
I offer a range of therapy options tailored to your unique needs and goals. I primarily incorporate psychodynamic, interpersonal, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) interventions. I have also been formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
