Megan Jordan is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She earned her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Elon University. Her professional experience includes counseling in the mental health, legal and higher education fields. Megan is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Processing (EMDR-C), and trained in CPT as well as CBT. She assists adults in all stages of life through counseling for anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, life transitions, self-worth. By client request, she also incorporates faith based counseling.
Over the course of my career, I have focused on helping others through challenging circumstances, traumatic events and I am empathic to how these situations can negatively impact daily functioning. I am passionate about helping people live life better by guiding others towards solutions and healthier ways of thinking and behaving.
My passion for counseling stems largely in my personal experiences in life. I understand how events in life can create fear, worry, sadness, and uncertainty.
