My ideal client is someone who is open to the process of change and motivated to change. They may be struggling to cope with a loss, past trauma, or going through current life changes and stressors leaving them now looking for support, and to learn new ways to cope. Therapy is a process, so patience with one's self and the process is key.
Most of my career has been spent treating trauma. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Motion Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy which is a evidence based practice used to treat trauma. I also bring in skills and training in a variety of other therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Strength Based and others.
I would be honored to help you through life's twists and turns with empathy and open-mindedness. I work very hard to build up a comforting and healthy connection with my clients and I hope to help you build a healthier present and future.
