Therapy is only as good as your relationship with your therapist. You want to find someone you feel comfortable sharing everything with because if you hold back how can you move towards healing? Therapy is shown to be effective not by how many credentials a person has but their ability to connect with their clients. There is nothing worse leaving your first session not wanting to come back and then feeling exhausted and apprehensive trying to find another therapist.
