Hey there, y'all! My name is Megan, and I'm from the country outside of Houston, TX. I live in the city now and began working inpatient in the Houston area in 2016. Primarily I have worked with adults with chronic mental illness, but I have experience with all types of clients. I consider mental health multi-faceted and am so happy to be able to help people develop a holistic approach to their own mental health. I emphasize the importance of spiritual, emotional, physical, sexual and intellectual health as a whole. I have experience working with clients who utilize alternative forms of treatment like Ketamine and TMS.
While I identify as an eclectic therapist, I am personally drawn to existential philosophy and therapy. As an eclectic therapist, I evaluate which therapeutic orientation is best for you from dozens of different orientations. As an inpatient therapist, I have the most experience utilizing CBT, solution-focused brief and crisis intervention methods.
