Hi! My name is Megan Cannone. I graduated with my MSW in 2009 from Western Carolina University. I spent time working in a psychiatric unit before transitioning to hospice care. I spent over six years working in hospice before I transitioned into working with young adults who have cancer. I am a certified oncology social worker and a certified oncology patient navigator.
In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions and a brief outline of what your therapy goals are to get a clear understanding of who you are, where you are at and the issues you want to focus on. Moving into treatment, I am a relationship based therapist and promise to meet you where you are.
I have 15 plus years of experience working with clients. Having a trusting relationship is a priority to me and I can guarantee a space for you to share, feel safe and supported.
