I specialize in helping clients of all ages, with a primary focus on pre-K to adolescent children. I offer virtual appointments for adults during the week and in-person sessions on weekends. My goal is to improve functioning in the home, at school, at the workplace, and in relationships. I use a brain-based approach with attachment-based, mindfulness, play, narrative, and art therapy to address barriers and promote mental wellness. In my practice, I prioritize collaboration with parents when working with children to improve overall family functioning.
As a brain-based therapist, I go beyond basic counseling techniques and will help you learn and understand the 'why' and 'how' of your body and brain work. I also specialize in enhancing family functioning, with a focus on attachment and working with children and caregivers. I can help you learn to reprogram your nervous system for lasting change.
I am a licensed mental health therapist and I teach/practice calm curiosity with my clients. As a doctoral student, my work is based on the neuroscience of modern attachment, mindfulness, and regulation theories. I am trained in infant and early childhood mental health, play therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
