There are times in life when you have come to the limit of the old way of being. This may have been brought about by loss, stress, illness, or a new life stage. You're tired or stuck, grieving or worried. These experiences have likely brought you to the precipice of a new normal (whether you wanted it or not). I have a passion for working with people adjusting to new normals, with such concerns as stress, health challenges, reproductive grief (infertility, miscarriage, infant loss), postpartum concerns, and those struggling with experiences from childhood.
My integrative counseling and somatic psychotherapy practice draws on attachment theory, neuroscience, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness and psychodynamic theory. I help people learn to develop skills to regulate their nervous systems, navigate loss with self compassion, and access capacities for connection to their own inherent wisdom.
Through these and other modalities we can work together to help your new normal become a solid ground for new possibilities.
