While I believe many challenges and hardships are common to the human experience, I also understand that each person has unique experiences, perspectives, strengths, and challenges. I approach counseling from a collaborative perspective in which the counselor and client work together to facilitate client growth and positive change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience in counseling.
I have worked with adolescents and adults struggling with diverse challenges including anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions. I use an integrative approach in my therapeutic work and often draw from Existential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my approach to counseling.
