Depression is very treatable, especially with time spent understanding the causes as well as developing strategies to gradually engage with life again. I also specialize and deeply enjoy working with clients who identify as Highly Sensitive, who tend to get overwhelmed in our busy culture and crave more private time. Highly Sensitive People often have beliefs of shame and inferiority related to how they see themselves.
As a Therapist, I guide people through personal challenges, help relieve emotional burdens, and assist people to develop a new relationship with their thoughts. I like to incorporate self compassion and mindfulness as invaluable tools to manage life's difficulties, therefore I am intentional about fostering both in the course of therapy.
Everyone, including you, deserves the focused attention of a compassionate and skilled clinician.
