I have counseled a diverse population within a variety of settings over the years. I provide individual therapy to adults to help overcome life stressors. My approach in counseling is to help you gain healthy skills to navigate life’s challenges, past trauma and develop healthy relationships. I believe the most important part of therapy is the relationship.

Life is a maze of ups and downs, we are taught to push away the downs and "keep moving" without acknowledging our true feelings and needs. Before you know it, fear, anxiety, trauma, depression, self doubt begin to take over and guide our decision making process. Your truth, who you are, and what you want starts to get lost, life becomes exhausting, unsatisfying and lonely. How might it feel to safely explore and validate your emotions and needs? Deepen your understanding of who you are and how you function through exposure to thoughts, feelings and behaviors that take over and create dysfunction in your life.

Book with me know, click on my website! While I am not seeking to only work with client's that check off these boxes, as I would like to positively impact as many people as possible, my experience has been that clients who benefit extremely well from working with me are those that are open to engaging in the work needed to see the benefits of therapy. Clients that are seeking to better understand their perspective of the world, how they fit into it, how they can fit into it, and how they can make the most of their space in the world will thrive when working with me.

"Superman's not brave. You can't be brave if your indestructible, its everyday people like you and me that are brave knowing we could easily be defeated but still continue to move forward"-unknown. It is a huge gift to be able to witness someone who had little hope become that person they always dreamed of! To give just one person the gift of hope; that is priceless. I have found that most people "in recovery", they are strong amazing people! You've overcome so much already, use those assets for your recovery instead of active addiction.

We often come to therapy because we are lost in the woods of our lives. Sometimes the woods are dark and scary, sometimes they are just confusing. Somehow, we have gone off the path, thinking we knew the way, and have come to realize we are not where we had hoped to be. Perhaps we never had a clear path to begin with. I see my role as a guide and companion on your journey from where you are to where you would like to be—I’ll hold a map and flashlight and walk alongside you as you discover where you have been, how you came to be where you are, and the direction you’d like to go.
