As a therapist, I work with children, adults, couples, and families as they navigate various life transitions. This can include reorganization within the family system, through either a new marriage, a separation or divorce, birth of a new family member, the exploration of alternative family building options, or various other life events. Our lives are constantly in flux, and we all sometimes need support to navigate these decision points and learn to better manage the anxiety they create.

Taking steps to initiate therapy can be anxiety provoking with fears of the unknown.
I value an open dialogue with my clients that incorporates feedback to ensure their needs are being met during our time together.  In my view, the client-therapist relationship should prioritize honesty and respect and while diagnosing is one aspect of psychotherapy, I am most interested in how your daily life is being impacted and what we can do in our work together to develop coping and awareness that will bring more harmony and help you lead a more fulfilled life.

I support those navigating trauma (sexual and religious), depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, sex/gender identity, and life transitions.
I see you. If you've made it here, you are searching for something and I am passionate about joining you at the core of the pain, in the middle of the mess, and within the distress. I aim to be a witness and to co-create a space where we can tap into your capacity to resist, rejoice, rest, and recharge.

Anxiety, Depression, Self Esteem, Relationship Issues, Grief and Loss, Life Transitions.
Do you find yourself repeating the same behaviors over and over again, hoping for a different outcome? This is a pattern that can be changed, and as a therapist with over 30 years of experience, I can help you to make these changes. By understanding and working through how one's early experiences influence one’s current behaviors, lasting changes can be made. Concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship issues are among the areas I treat. I believe in the importance of developing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment in which we can explore your feelings.

Do you have difficulty setting boundaries, saying no and being assertive? Do you have a pattern in your relationships where you consistently prioritize others needs over your own? Do you tend to feel taken advantage of, resentful or drained? If so, you may struggle with codependency and find yourself in one sided relationships. You over give and take on excessive responsibilities to help ease the burden of others. You have trouble expressing your emotions and opinions to maintain peace and get your sense of self-worth by people pleasing. Codependency is not a clinical diagnosis, but it can contribute to anxiety and depression.

Currently accepting new clients :) I focus on treating early adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, and ADHD issues. I am especially experienced working with middle schoolers who are having difficulties navigating their family and peer relationships as well as mood swings and emotional regulation challenges. By helping my clients identify what is (and is not) in their control and looking within themselves to see what strengths they didn't know they have, I believe that anyone—no matter their age or background—can achieve their goals.

It's hard to know how to choose a counselor. I'm happy to meet for an hour or two at no charge to help you find someone. I believe that one's thinking and beliefs are important, but certainly there is an emotional component that is key as well. I find that people feel a lot better when they feel their lives are moving forward. I am best at trauma, anxiety, and panic. I enjoy working with couples, singles who are dating, and people struggling with fatigue. I have much experience with fire service personnel, and some experience with military. I am best with traumas that occurred as an adult.

Through evidence-based treatments like CBT, we can work together to challenge cognitive distortions and reframe anxious perspectives that hold you back.
As a modern and ambitious woman, you're standing at a pivotal crossroads—ready to break free from the limiting beliefs and generational patterns that have kept you feeling stuck. You may be experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression that doesn’t even feel like your own, sensing that it has been passed down and projected onto you by unhealed family members. These feelings often stem from a lack mindset—an inherited belief that you’re not enough or that abundance in all forms isn’t for you. But deep down, you know these old-fashioned ideals, born from a different time and place, no longer serve the vibrant, empowered woman you are.
