I am passionate about working with children, teens, and adults who have experienced trauma. I enjoy helping them honor their survival, address the struggle and feelings that have come out of it, and work towards healing. I also work with people who are going through life transitions, big or small. My clients come looking for comfort, a safe place to share without judgement, and to learn about how their experiences may impact their life in ways they may not have realized. I’m Amy Weishampel, LCPC. My passion as a therapist is to help people whose mental health issues intersect with their identities, including the LGBTQIA+ community, people in polyamorous or other nontraditional relationships, creative people, young adults, and people struggling with cultural issues. I have experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and OCD. I utilize a flexible approach, using existential and narrative therapy perspectives, as well as techniques borrowed from CBT and ACT in an effort to help my clients with their mental health struggles.

Sherika Elliott is a licensed clinical social worker. Working collaboratively, Sherika helps patients identify the stressors posing a barrier to their quality of life. From there, she helps patients identify the root causes of these issues and identify any behaviors that may be perpetuating the problem. Sherika sees her role as being there to assist the patient and offering accountability for change. In the session, Sherika takes her time establishing the therapeutic relationship, listening to each individual’s concerns, symptoms, and struggles. Her goal is to spread the love so her patients’ hearts can be touched by insight .
