I am a licensed psychologist that provides individual and family therapy for children and adolescents. I also provide cognitive behavioral therapy for adults. The services that I provide aim at teaching individuals more appropriate ways of coping while providing unconditional, positive support. In addition, I also help my clients identify their strengths, set realistic goals and to recognize and reward their successes.

My client’s focus are adults in clinical, family and individual psychotherapy sessions. I work with those with mental illness, chemically dependency and legally involved individuals. I conduct counseling and evaluations for families, individuals and veterans with PTSD. I can assist military personnel and their families during periods of adjustment.

I specialize in working with adults with complex trauma, PTSD, and depression, especially adults with a significant portion of ancestor trauma and systemic oppression. I have an eclectic but focused approach, with an emphasis in EMDR and Ego State parts work.

Katherine E. Smith, Psy.D. has earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, in Arlington, VA, and her Masters in Psychology at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. Dr. Smith completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at Associated Clinical Services, a private practice in Springfield VA.

Carla Corsey, Psy. D. is a Licensed Psychologist who completed her graduate training in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University. Dr. Corsey also holds a Master's degree in Education from Bowie State University. Dr. Corsey completed her Pre-Doctoral internship at the Fifth Avenue Center for Counseling & Psychotherapy in New York, and her Post-Doctoral training at the Regional Institute for Children & Adolescents in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Corsey has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including at Baltimore Lab School in Baltimore, MD and Washington Behavioral Medicine Associates, LLC.

Doveal Goins, Psy. D. , is a licensed clinical forensic psychologist who earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, and Master of Arts in Education from National University. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Clinical Forensic Psychology and her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, California.

Michele is an individual and family therapist licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She has more than 20 years of experience working as a clinical social worker with adults, teens and families with children on issues of family conflict, trauma history, school performance problems and adoption related issues. She has helped individuals, children and adolescents with emotional disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, attachment issues, grief loss, and trauma.

Holistic Healing Counseling Center (HHCC) is a virtual practice in Maryland. At HHCC, we believe a person's well-being is interconnected and focus on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Kenneth W. Gilstein, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist, with a subspecialty in neuropsychology, and an expertise in mild Traumatic Brain Injuries. He graduated from Cornell University, with a major in neurobiology and behavior, and obtained a Ph.D. from Utah State University, majoring in Professional Scientific Psychology (a combination of clinical, counseling and school psychology). In 2003 he received an award from the Connecticut Psychological Association for “Distinguished Contribution to the Science of Psychology” for his work in mild traumatic brain injury.

Antonia Tsutsumi, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social with over 10 years of experience and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals experiencing life altering situations. Antonia provides psychotherapy services to adults who deal with a range of struggles, from life stressors to major mental illness. As a psychotherapist, Antonia works with clients from a collaborative, non- judgmental, strength-based perspective, to help them achieve their desired goals.
