Timothy Griffith, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker. He has a wide range of experience in the delivery and administration of human services, including social services, behavioral health, aging and disabilities, public health, and juvenile justice. He received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and he has also completed a variety of post-master’s clinical social work courses, as well as a certificate in substance use counseling.

When meeting any client, I am excited to hear their stories and join them on their journey. Over the course of my career I have become increasingly aware of a demand in the community for Sex Therapy, and have decided to recalibrate my practice accordingly. I am engaged in a comprehensive training program facilitated by the Sexual Health Alliance on my path to becoming an AASECT-certified Sex Therapist. My background in substance abuse and trauma has largely informed this decision. I continue to serve individuals seeking to manage compulsive behaviors, AD(H)D, anxiety disorders, and mood symptoms through this transition to a sex-centered practice.

Warmth, authenticity and connection, plus a little bit (sometimes a lot) of laughter are the hallmarks of my practice. I focus on establishing and maintaining a safe, trusting relationship with every client because I believe through connection there is healing. I specialize in helping clients in transition - separation, divorce, empty nesting, college-to-adulting - the major life changes where we often find ourselves questioning, doubting, or just wondering. Stefanie Whalen is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She has worked in Women's and Children Services at Anne Arundel Medical Center. There she worked with new mothers, parents of preemie babies and with at-risk youth. She has worked with children and adolescents with ADHD, anxiety, anger, depression and behavioral issues. She held several support groups for children of divorce and children whose families were just beginning the divorce process. Stefanie has worked with parents and children teaching effective communication methods, working with boundaries and teaching acceptance. She provides marriage counseling, individual counseling for adults and Family Counseling.

I have 8 years of experience working one-on-one with clients in the mental health field and helping adults struggling with substance use, addictive behaviors, anxiety, mood disorders, and financial instability.
