The ideal client is a human being who wants to better understand and have compassion for themselves by utilizing mindfulness, neuroscience, and somatic healing techniques. I combine my counseling degree with my undergraduate degree in human physiology to help approach individuals issues from a psychophysiological perspective. I specialize in substance abuse and perinatal mental health disorders, along with general mental health.
I am a mental health counselor with a certification in substance abuse. I engage individuals from a holistic, empowering, and strengths-based approach. I look at the mind and body to help individuals improve their lives. I specialize in trauma-informed care, mindfulness techniques, neuroscience, highly sensitive personality and psychophysiology!
I have personally struggled with mental health issues and know how de-stabilizing they can become in a person’s day-to-day life. In my therapy practice I take the skills and abilities I have garnered through my own personal healing journey and share them in hopes of helping others. I find great passion and fulfillment in sharing space with others in need.
