Your goals for counseling are important in therapy to help you towards the comfort , healing and growth you are looking for and deserve.
l will be working with you from a multicultural perspective using different modalities such as "person-centered", "cognitive behavioral (CBT)", "dialectical behavioral (DBT)," "acceptance commitment (ACT)", "Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)", "Motivational Interviewing (MI)" and "Solution Focus (SFBT)".
In my 13 years as a licenced counselor I have learned that each person has unique needs, concerns, suffering, traumas, and respond to different therapeutic approaches. I believe in utilizing a "whatever will work best for you" approach to treatment.
