Life happens for all of us and trauma can be a part of it. When we experience trauma it's important to have someone that you trust to help. I'm here. Having experienced my own trauma and sought help for issues I had, I know how important it is to trust a therapist to be there for you. I am here to help guide you through the healing process and restore hope. I became a Certified Counseling Trauma Professional and EMDR Therapist out of my desire to build hope and help those that are feeling helpless. I am trained in several trauma modalities, as well as Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. I have worked every level of care in Mental Health and Substance abuse from Outpatient to Inpatient Acute Hospitalizations. I have worked with children from the age of 3 to adults up to 84.
I am a PIT (Post Induction Trained) therapist and follow the teachings of Pia Melody and Brene' Brown. I think it's important that we explore the origins of original hurts to understand what hurts us and the way we feel today.
