My passion to work with the LGBTQIA2S+ community, & adolescents & young adults stems from wanting to provide the therapy & be that person I wish I could have had growing up. Being part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, I strive to make an inclusive environment for all clients that I see. I strive to make a warm & inviting atmosphere, & want to make sure that the therapeutic environment can foster a safe & open place to be able to discuss any matters that are important to my clients. I hope to provide a trusting & nonjudgmental environment to challenge & also work alongside you to see the growth & progress that you may be seeking.
I've worked with the following populations: individuals seeking detox/rehab services for drug/alcohol addictions, adolescents & young adults, & clients experiencing mild to severe symptoms and mental health diagnoses. Techniques used in sessions can be rooted in but are not limited to being: Solution-Focused, DBT, CBT, Adlerian, & Mindfulness.
Trust, rapport, & safety are imperative to the therapeutic relationship. I want to meet all clients where they're at on their life journey. I hope there may be moments I can assist clients to find their best & healthiest decision for themself, in hopes that they can continue to find the best ways to make any life decisions after the counseling experience.
