I’m a licensed psychologist with experience working in inpatient psychiatric, outpatient counseling, and outpatient neurorehabilitation settings. I specialize in clinical neuropsychology, conducting neuropsychological evaluations and brain-based psychotherapy for adults. I also provide consulting services in various settings (e.g. organizational, workers’ compensation, forensic) on topics related to my areas of expertise. Is there evidence of postconcussional syndrome? Is this likely to be a dementing process? Are there deficits associated with known seizure disorder? What is baseline neurocognitive functioning following newly diagnosed MS or brain tumor? Is this likely to be ADHD or is something else going on? Are psychiatric problems affecting cognitive functioning?
Examples of clinical issues I can be helpful with include: Working through loss, grief, acceptance, and adjusting to functional changes related to one’s health and sense of self. Providing brain injury education to patients with acquired brain injury and their family members. Working through symptoms of anxiety, depressed mood, and posttraumatic stress.
