My background includes working with individuals suffering from PTSD and other trauma-related disorders, as well as chemically dependent populations. With that being said, I am willing to work alongside anyone looking for a support or to make a change in their life. I have more clinical experience working with adolescent individuals and adult males, but am open to working with a more diverse range of ages, genders, and background
I specialize in working with adolescent males with behavioral issues and survivors of trauma. I use a person-centered approach with cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and narrative elements in my work. I would describe myself as warm, inviting and easy to talk to.
I have experience in emergency medicine, so crisis intervention and de-escalation are unique strengths of mine. I have done in-home therapy and skills work, which afforded me an opportunity to see clients'/families' work and interact in a natural setting and further refined my ability to help clients in these struggles.
