In this process they find both characteristics of resilience and strength as well as unwanted or ineffective patterns that have developed over their lifetime. When guided by a well-trained, ethical and compassionate therapist what is learned can be applied to today's problems.
Generally, my style is to allow you the time to safely talk through, vent, identify problems or negative patterns, build on your strengths and address things you may be ashamed about. My training in DBT, CBT, Motivational MET has primarily informed my work.
