Welcome! My name is Matt, a licensed Masters of Social Work dedicated to helping individuals heal and thrive. With 2 decades of experience working in mental health, I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, complex PTSD (cPTSD), and depression. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, gain insights, and develop effective coping strategies.
I believe that healing is a collaborative process, and I am here to support you every step of the way. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices tailored to meet your unique needs, including: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies and Motivational Interviewing.
As affirming therapist I will provide a supportive and validating environment for YOU. I aim to affirm YOUR experiences, identities, and feelings, promoting a sense of self-worth and empowerment by creating a safe, non-judgemental appoarch that validates YOUR race, gender, sexuality, and any other aspects of YOUR unqiue identity.
