Hello, I'm Matt. I'm a psychologist with 18 years of experience. I've worked in a wonderful university counseling center for the past 7 years, and publicly-funded clinics working with adults before that, and am starting a new chapter in private practice. It's mind boggling to think back about the many people I've had the privilege of knowing and assisting. Now, I hope to help you, with my experience, training, and engaged self.
I value the tradition of evidenced-based therapy practices, and being able to encounter people who are struggling authentically. We'll work together to explore that struggle, define it as much as possible, and see what can be done.
I have the most experience with depression and anxiety concerns, and have worked successfully with people managing the range of disorders, including trauma, bipolar, psychosis, eating concerns, and OCD.
