Change is possible. Just because you've done the same thing over and over, doesn't mean today can't be different. Most of us know what change that we'd like to make. However, our instincts are to cling to what gets us through the day and avoid meaningful change. The good news is that we can learn to act effectively to welcome change instead of push it away. At times, we need help to face the places where we need to improve. Positive change does not happen overnight. My goal is to find what what works. I focus on evidence-based and practical strategies to help my clients improve their lives and emotional well-being.
I bring to the table more than 5 years of experience working with adults on a multitude of mental health issues. I have worked extensively with most types of therapy styles. I find Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to be very effective for most clients but I want to tailor my treatment to the needs of the client.
