Welcoming you to your inner healing journey. I'm Matt Box, an LICSW with over 15 years of experience in the field of community mental health and a background in teaching developmental psychology. With the creation of my own practice, my mission is to help guide individuals on their own holistic path towards increased balance and self-compassion. Combining evidence-based practices with the wisdom of ancient healing traditions has allowed me to expand and personalize my approach to healing while creating a safe and compassionate space where individuals can explore their inner selves, heal past wounds, and cultivate resilience.
With a strong foundation in substance recovery and trauma-informed care, I have dedicated my own learning and experiences to helping others navigate the complexities of their own lives layer by layer. I specialize in working with young adults, recognizing the challenges of this transitional phase of life and the developmental impact on our identity formation
I utilize an integral approach of mindfulness/meditation practices and self-dialogue reflection explored through motivational interviewing lens, to help empower individuals to cultivate self-awareness while identifying & developing coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and depression.
