It's time to change your story. You're looking through these profiles, trying to find someone who sees you. You've known you're different - the way you feel things, sense things, or relate to the people around you. And somehow you believe you're the problem. But, to quote Doctor Who, "I've never met anybody who wasn't important before." You have a purpose - even if you don't know it. And yes, there are obstacles: anxiousness, lack of motivation, and overwhelm. Together we work to find your strengths, use them to overcome these obstacles, and make you the hero of your own story.
I specialize in Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) - those who feel a deep, visceral connection to the world around them that overwhelms them - many times claiming relationships and jobs. I also work with other neurodiversities (ADHD, ASD). Through in-person or online therapy, I work at your pace and your comfort level, minimizing time away from family.
As an HSP myself, I work to be present with you. I will take time to listen & understand before I ever try to "fix" anything. I believe you are the expert on "you," so together we'll sort through past issues and present worries so that you can connect meaningfully with others. I have always felt like the "misfit toy" - and my people are the fellow misfits.
