Many challenges my clients face, whether young or old, lead them to believe they cannot make changes in their lives. As a therapist, I help empower you to break out of these unhealthy patterns. I love helping people move from a place of depression and anxiety toward a foundation of hopefulness.
From adolescents to adults of any age, couples, and families, you are welcome to come for counseling. My personal journey as a clinician has involved crisis management in a psychiatric setting, assessments in neuroscience research, psychiatric and addiction treatment in Africa, and counseling in an outpatient office setting.
My background in both psychology and neuroscience leads me to approach situations from a relational standpoint primarily, with a foundation in scientific knowledge and evidence-based practice. I am always learning and stay open to new approaches to suit each individual or family.
