Hi, I'm Matt. In looking for a therapist, you've taken an important step toward healing and self-discovery. My style tends to be compassionate, strength-based, and experiential. Sessions are available for those experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transition, trauma, family and relationship stress, identity development, and grief and loss. I offer couples counseling for enhancing partner support, reestablishing emotional and physical bonds, and improving communication.
I integrate several evidence-based frameworks (ACT, EFT, IFS, Family Systems) to help clients improve well-being and reduce challenging symptoms internally as well as between individuals. My therapeutic assumption is that the core of each person is a self that contains deep wisdom, is self-healing, and promotes wellness in one’s own life and those of others.
