I often work with people who are trying to overcome something profoundly hurtful or personally traumatic, either recently or long ago. Many times I work with people who are dealing with life transitions such as divorce or career changes. Sometimes people ask for help to cope with grief, or to help overcome loss of self-esteem or disillusionment.
