I have been facilitating inpatient and outpatient mental health therapy for over 25 years. My goal is to guide you to explore your concerns and build a greater understanding of the different aspects of your experience, from the emotional, mental, and physical to the family, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions.
During our first session, most likely, you'll find yourself talking about your current symptoms or struggles, as well as speaking a bit about your relationships, your interests, your strengths, and your goals. Most importantly, in that first session, you will begin making a connection with me as your therapist.
As a bilingual, multicultural psychotherapist, I consider that my cultural diversity constitutes an essential tool to practice mental health therapy competently, as well as, a nonjudgmental, compassionate approach when treating clients needing emotional regulation and holistic wellbeing.
