I am a Social Worker/Counselor and a Licensed Massage Therapist with training in CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, Acupressure and Reiki Techniques. Additionally, I draw from various therapeutic disciplines including EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), EMDR (Eye Movement De-sensitization Reprocessing), Jin Shin Jyutsu and Focusing. Sound, movement & breath work is also incorporated if needed. My goal is to assist an individual heal physical & emotional wounds that impact self esteem and prevent one from achieving success & happiness in life's pursuits, particularly work, creativity & relationships.
I specialize in addiction treatment, self esteem issues, goal achievement, pain & stress syndromes resulting from physical or emotional trauma, Mindfulness & Meditation practices. Due to Covid-19, via video/phone, I can instruct individuals to place their own hands on body in specific placements to achieve balance, as well as emotional & physical relief.
I have a Masters in Clinical Social Work from NYU with training in Psychoanalysis from the Institute of Expressive Analysis. My bodywork training is as follows: Therapeutic & Sports Massage from The Florida School of Massage, CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute, Acupressure training from the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley California.
