I work often with clients on issues such as learning to set and hold boundaries, unpacking codependency, and understanding why they are unhappy in relationships. We all find ourselves repeating behaviors and patterns that once helped but begin to no longer work for us. Often my clients are in a stuck place, a life transition, grieving a loss, or wanting to change relational patterns. Other areas of interest and experience include identifying and addressing current patterns of abuse or healing from past abuse (emotional, sexual, physical, spiritual).
I am often described as warm, open-minded, and kind but not afraid to give honest feedback. My primary therapy methods are attachment-based, psychodynamic, and narrative. I use story work and Internal Family Systems (parts work) to address past trauma and unhealthy coping mechanisms.
Currently Accepting New Clients (updated August 2024) I would love to connect via email or phone to answer any questions you have or to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if we would be a good fit to work together.
