I am experienced in helping those who struggle with anxiety, depression ,substance use, relationships and self esteem concerns. I assist my clients in utilizing their own untapped resources to find resolution to their problems in a safe supportive, non- judgmental environment. I provide support in making difficult life transitions. I assist my clients as they make positive change and develop new skills.
I have a background in community mental health. I have a great deal of experience with substance use issues, adult children of alcoholics and co-dependency. I have excellent outcomes in teaching skills to decrease anxiety. I am compassionate and genuine and my approach with clients tends to be gentle, supportive and holistic.
Many of my clients are open to allowing me to use hypnotherapy in our sessions together, to assist them in bringing about change. This is accomplished through gentle suggestions and storytelling while in a relaxed, hypnotic state. I have received extensive training in this modality of treatment. I enjoy seeing my clients build skill in mindfulness.
