I am a licensed clinical social worker with years of experience in working with people of all ages going through difficult times. I work with adults, 20 and older. My group, individual,and couples therapy sessions provide an arena for acceptance and an opportunity to work through problems. Do you struggle with work stress, depression, anxiety, negative thoughts, anger, lonely feelings, low self esteem, conflicts with others, past memories, shame, confusion or lack of concentration, hopelessness?. I am not taking any new clients at this time (8/31/23). I have been trained in Transactional Analysis which clarifies interpersonal communication, Gestalt therapy which looks at the thoughts, feelings and behaviors in a person; the focus on one's thoughts is similar to Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I also use meditation, and guided imagery and music.
My noninstitutional office in North Rockville provides a comfotable and non-threatening environment for productive psychotherapy work. I am skilled in working with: Depression,anxiety,aging,sexual identity, addictions (alcohol, drug, sex), schizophrenia, grief, spirituality, family of origin, couple relations,low self esteem, passivity/agressivity, life transitions and work stress.

Meditation Group
This group meets every few months on Sundays from 3 to 4:30. No previous experience with meditation required. The group setting offers an opportunity for those struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, and other symptoms and issues, to become aware of one's body and mind and find relaxation and connection with oneself and others.
