As a former Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School, I am committed to helping my clients understand what has become challenging and develop new ways to address these difficulties. My approach is collaborative, warm, strength based and adapted to each individual. I offer psychotherapy emphasizing modern cognitive behavioral and mindfulness strategies, and treat adolescents and adults. People seek help from me for a wide variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, difficulties in relationships, women’s health issues such as infertility, adjustment to losses and life transitions.
I have been in private practice for over 25 years. I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Northwestern University, and held a staff position in the Behavioral Medicine program at Boston Children's Hospital.
