I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and unhealthy relational patterns, helping them to identify and change the obstacles and patterns that are getting in their way. Clients often come in feeling like life is overwhelming and they are not managing work, school, friendships and relationships well, despite their best intentions and efforts. Often these patterns are so ingrained that we are not aware of another way of interacting or seeing our core beliefs. Therapy can increase insight and help to resolve and heal the underlying issues, creating the symptoms of anxiety and depression.
A warm and trusting relationship gives clients the freedom to explore thoughts, feelings, patterns and relationships while learning healthy ways to manage anxiety, chronic self -doubt and sadness. I have worked in the Dallas area in clinical settings and Independent schools serving children, adolescents and adults for the past 19 years.
