I am owner and clinic director of The Child and Family Counseling Center located in Cool Springs. Our team at the child and family counseling center is trained to provide therapy for children, teens, adults, families, couples, and parents. Several of our providers are certified in PCIT to help parents of children as young as 2 build healthier attachments and address problematic behavior. We teach research based tools that are useful for client's dealing with anxiety, depression, mood swings, or just feeling overwhelmed. We can also teach client's techniques to improve social skills, communication, and family interactions.
I believe in tailoring therapy to each client's needs. I specialize in CBT for children, teens, and young adults and am certified in mindfulness-based stress reduction for teens. I incorporate tools from DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing. I am certified in biofeedback.
