I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I work with individuals experiencing problems related to addictive behaviors, depression, and anxiety as well as relationship issues. My purpose is to assist you in using your inner resources to resolve the turmoil in your life and grow in a positive, more meaningful direction. We will work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life and then work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals.
I approach counseling primarily from a cognitive-behavioral perspective in that thoughts and patterns are explored in order to better understand your problems and to develop solutions. I work with clients in a variety of formats including individually, couples and families.
