I am licensed in Washington State and Texas and can work with you online if you reside in either state. If aspects of life have been feeling too difficult for too long, help is available. Coming to counseling takes courage. It's important to find a therapist who is a good fit for you. My goal is to establish a safe haven where you can increase your comfort and satisfaction with yourself and your life. I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, life changes, work and relationship stress, aging, traumatic experiences (recent and childhood), mood disorders, and loss. Together we can craft a pathway to positive change.
I am trained in EMDR, FLASH EMDR, and Lifespan Integration Therapy. These are body based therapies that efficiently calm the brain, reduce symptoms of trauma and PTSD, and build self-compassion and joy. I also use cognitive behavioral methods and Motivational Interviewing. Relief is a real possibility. Clients report they feel better, and that is the goal!
